Demolition dumpster rental is the efficient way to handle debris from interior tear-outs, concrete removal, and site cleanup — whether you're a contractor managing multiple projects or a homeowner gutting a kitchen. Demolition dumpsters handle heavy materials like concrete, tile, and mixed construction waste that standard dumpsters can't accommodate. Instead of hauling debris away piece by piece, a dumpster on site lets your crew load continuously and dispose of everything at once.
TapDump delivers demolition dumpsters in 10, 15, 20, and 30-yard sizes. All rentals include a 10-day rental period, delivery, pickup, and licensed disposal. Pricing is flat and transparent — no hidden fees, no surprise weight overage bills (we quote weight upfront).
Types of demolition projects
Demolition dumpsters work for interior and exterior tear-outs. Here's what each type typically needs.
Removing non-load-bearing walls, drywall, insulation, studs, and electrical conduit from a single room or open area
Kitchen or bathroom complete tear-out — cabinets, flooring, walls, fixtures, tile, and everything to the studs
Removing finished basements, drop ceilings, partitions, flooring, and miscellaneous framing
Heavy material — driveway, patio, or foundation concrete. Weight fills capacity fast; select "heavy debris" at booking
Tear-out of framing, railings, fasteners, and hardware from residential decks up to 200 sq ft
Asphalt shingles, felt, underlayment, and decking removal. See our roofing page for size-by-sq-ft guidance
Partial concrete demolition, foam board removal, and surrounding cleanup for foundation repair prep
Complete structure removal requires multiple dumpster swaps or special arrangement; contact us for a quote

Critical tips for safe demolition
Asbestos was widely used in pre-1980 insulation, drywall, floor tile, and roofing. If you're demoing an older structure, have a sample tested before you break anything. Asbestos-containing debris requires licensed abatement — it cannot go in a standard demo dumpster. Violations carry serious fines.
Lead paint was common in homes built before 1978 and is regulated during renovation/demolition. If you're disturbing paint surfaces (drywall removal, sanding, etc.), you may need lead-safe work practices. Test paint or hire a certified lead contractor.
Concrete, brick, and masonry are dense — you'll hit the weight limit (1–3 tons depending on dumpster size) long before filling the volume. If your demo is primarily concrete or heavy materials, select "heavy debris" at booking for accurate pricing. Overage is $65/ton.
Place the dumpster where the demo crew can load efficiently — directly adjacent to the demo area if possible. The hauler can usually place it exactly where you need it. Make sure there's at least 23 feet of clear, flat space for delivery/pickup.
If the demo area has live electrical, make sure the hauler knows before dropping the dumpster. Metal fixtures and conductors can conduct electricity if they contact power lines during delivery.
Schedule delivery the day before the crew begins. Running out of dumpster space mid-demo stops your progress and costs money — better to have it ready and waiting.

About Tapdump
No. The price you see is the price you pay. As long as you stick to accepted materials, there are no weight overage fees. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, and dirt require a Heavy Debris rental at a different rate — we’ll guide you at booking.
