Residential dumpster rental is the most practical way to handle the debris from home cleanouts, remodels, and yard projects — without renting a truck, making a dozen dump runs, or hiring a junk removal crew to carry everything out for you. TapDump delivers a roll-off dumpster to your driveway, you fill it on your schedule, and we haul it away when you're done.
All rentals include a 10-day period, delivery, pickup, and disposal at a licensed facility. The price you see is the price you pay — no fuel surcharges, no environmental fees, no surprise bills after pickup.
What type of project are you working on?
Residential dumpster rentals work for just about any home project. Here's a breakdown by category with size recommendations.

Seasonal items, old furniture, boxes — generally lighter load
Larger volume, often includes old appliances and furniture
Full home — furniture, appliances, decades of accumulated items
Clearing a loved one's home — give yourself time and space
Home Renovation
Cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, drywall
Tile, vanity, toilet, tub, drywall, flooring
Carpet, hardwood, tile across 1–3 rooms
Asphalt shingles from most residential roofs
Up to 200 sq ft of decking, railings, and hardware
Yard & Outdoor
Branches, brush, grass, leaves, and landscaping debris
Trunk sections, limbs, and root material from one large tree
Items you don't want to move — clear out before moving day

Tips to get the most out of your rental
Put concrete, brick, and heavy materials on the bottom. This lowers the center of gravity and keeps you within the weight limit more predictably.
All our dumpsters have a door on one end. Open it to walk items in instead of lifting everything over the side — easier and safer for bulky furniture.
Even one prohibited item (paint, propane, batteries) can trigger a hazmat fee or force us to reject the load. Set those aside and dispose of them separately before filling the dumpster.
A second rental almost always costs more than sizing up initially. If you're deciding between a 15 and 20-yard, go with the 20 — it's only $40 more and you won't risk running short.

About Tapdump
No. The price you see is the price you pay. As long as you stick to accepted materials, there are no weight overage fees. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, and dirt require a Heavy Debris rental at a different rate — we’ll guide you at booking.
