Yard waste dumpster rental is the efficient solution for landscaping projects, tree removal, and seasonal yard cleanup. Instead of bagging leaves, chipping branches piece by piece, or hauling debris to a green waste facility yourself, a yard waste dumpster rental lets you load everything on site and have it processed at a licensed facility. All material is composted or turned into mulch — nothing goes to a landfill.
TapDump delivers yard waste dumpsters in 10, 15, 20, and 30-yard sizes. All rentals include a 10-day rental period, delivery, pickup, and environmentally-compliant disposal at a licensed green waste processing facility. Flat pricing with no hidden fees.
Types of yard projects
Yard waste dumpsters handle everything from seasonal cleanup to major tree removal. Here's what each project typically needs.
Seasonal leaf and debris cleanup — raking, bagging, and disposing of yard waste from spring or fall maintenance
One large tree removal including trunk sections, branches, roots, and stump material; depends on tree size
Full yard redesign — removing old shrubs, removing sod, old mulch, and debris from major landscaping work
Fallen branches, damaged fencing, and debris from severe weather; may also include damaged wood and property wreckage
Trimming cleanup from tree maintenance — branches, limbs, brush piles that have accumulated over seasons
Sod removal, old mulch, and soil amendments from yard rejuvenation projects
Construction projects that generate both yard waste (from excavation) and construction debris combined

Tips for yard waste disposal
Trees removed in sections take less space if branches are chipped. A tree service can chip on-site or you can rent a chipper. Chipping also makes the debris lighter per volume, so you might need a smaller dumpster.
Tree trunks should be cut into 1–2 foot sections to load efficiently. Most yard waste facilities won't accept whole logs or large stumps. A chainsaw or tree service can pre-cut before the dumpster arrives.
If you're disposing of an old lawnmower, trimmer, or other powered equipment, drain fuel and oil before loading. Liquid hazmat cannot go in a yard waste dumpster.
Bagging leaves takes forever. Pour them loose into the dumpster and compact as you go. You'll fit 2–3x more unbagged leaves than bagged.
Pressure-treated lumber contains arsenic/chromium and cannot go in a green waste dumpster. If you're clearing an old fence or deck, separate treated wood and dispose separately.
Spring cleanup and fall leaf removal create high demand. Book early if you're timing with a tree service or contractor. Delivery is still next-day even during busy seasons, but earlier booking ensures your preferred date.
